My Baking Journey: From Love to Life’s Purpose
My baking journey began long before I knew it would become such an important part of my life. As a little girl, I stood on tiptoes beside my mum, nanny and dad, learning and falling in love with the rhythm of baking in the kitchen. Eager to help, mix, stir, and watch closely as magic happened in the oven. But the true inspiration came from my dad, a natural baker, who made it all look effortless. Every morning, our kitchen was filled with the smell of fresh, homemade pastries and breads. Watching my family, I learned that baking isn’t just about recipes, it’s about passion, patience, and love. The kitchen was the heart of our home, full of joy, laughter, and the kind of warmth that only homemade food can bring. That daily experience showed me something deeper: when people are passionate, persistent, and determined, they can create something truly magical. Baking was never just a task in our family. It was a way of showing love, strength, and care.
A Spark Reignited...
Years after university, I returned to the kitchen with a simple, heartfelt gesture my first-ever figure cake, made in 2011 for my boyfriend. The joy I saw on his face sparked something in me. And that was the moment my journey truly began. What started as a hobby quickly became my creative escape — a way to express love, celebrate moments, and find meaning in the everyday. I was self-taught at first, then built my skills through courses, late-night trials, and many lessons learned through failure. The most rewarding part was always the joy on someone’s face — whether it was a cake shaped like their favourite superhero or a dessert that brought back childhood memories. Their happiness gave me purpose, strength, and confidence. It made me fall in love with baking all over again.

A Turning Point...
In 2015, when I moved to the UK, it felt like stepping through a door I was meant to find. I gathered tools, explored new ingredients, and turned my imagination into real creations, edible joy. Baking wasn’t just a part of my life anymore — it was becoming a part of who I was. After getting married, I became a mother. It was a period of adjustment, and the challenges I faced reshaped my perspective, strengthening my passion for baking and deepening my commitment to creating something meaningful. Then, in 2020, everything changed. I began to experience unexplained symptoms: constant pain, exhaustion, and sleepless nights. Despite numerous tests and treatments, there were no clear answers until I was finally diagnosed with intolerances to dairy, along with sensitivities to eggs and gluten. On top of this, I lost my dad, which brought unbearable pain and sleepless nights. The grief was overwhelming. I was heartbroken and unsure how to move forward.
